Summer’s here
and the air is hot,
And these best friends haven’t forgot
About their day of fun planned as a three,
A new adventures begun,
but where could they be?
The beach of course!
It’s the only way
To celebrate summer
On a sunny day!
Our bunny friend can’t wait
to swim in the bluest of waves,
Amongst shoals of fish,
And exploring in caves
Little kitten is ready to play,
With a beachball in tow
she’s set for the day!
Throwing it high in the air
for a game of catch,
Or perhaps even ready
for a volleyball match?
puppy pal is feeling rather jolly,
Cooling down in the heat
With a blue ice lolly,
What a refreshing treat
under the summer sun
We all need to rest
So we can have much more fun.
Bubbles float in the air,
Alongside high flying kites,
Happy squeals can be heard
Beneath the sun so bright
Time flies when you’re playing,
and the sun’s getting low –
They watch a beautiful sunset,
Then home bound they go. 🦀
These three have always been a celebration of childhood to me, and I wanted it to have a nostalgic, British feel to this design.
Spending a day at the beach, playing with inflatable beach balls in the sea, walking along with sand between my toes, Ice lollies, Mr Whippy’s, and slot machines, who doesn’t love a caravan holiday?
I wanted kiddies to fall in love with the design, but I wanted the parents buying Summer Pals to look at it and think ‘ahh memories’
