A sprinkle here,

Then you suddenly realise
Christmas is everywhere!

It’s finally is here!
The most wonderful day!
A time to celebrate with the family,
but first…

As we open the front door
a robin lands close by
A sign of lost loved ones
Who’ve come down to say ‘hi’.
Leavening tiny footprints
Across the snow,
We wave goodbye
when it’s time for it to go.

A perfectly formed snowflake
Falls gently on your nose,
Whilst we build a friendly snow man,
Making its smile with coals.

Let’s play on the Sledge,
We’ll pull it through the snow
To the top of the steep hill
With a big, heave-ho!
We made it to the top!
Now, 3…2…1… GO!

It’s getting colder,
Jack Frosts clearly been—
Time to head home now
To get warm, dry and clean!
As we get nearer
We see the roof covered in snow,
Smoke billowing from the chimney,
The windows emit a warm, inviting glow.

We’re back in the house now
With our little Christmas tree
Topped with a star,
it looks so festive and pretty!
Ready for Santa
Who’ll visit tonight,
Leaving gifts whilst we sleep
that bring joy and delight!

It’s the littlest things
That make Christmas special:
That create the memories
Which become sentimental.
So sprinkle your Christmas
With laughter and fun;
sharing your love and appreciation
With everyone.
